MC+, the multidisciplinary design consultancy, proudly introduces Fractals—a concept-driven collection that explores the elegant tension between contrasting materials, textures, and finishes. Inspired by the mathematical principle of fractals—where self-similar patterns repeat at different scales—the project investigates the possibilities of structure, repetition, and transformation in design.

MC+ presents a bold juxtaposition of form and texture, with sculptural curved benches that seamlessly blend leather and metal. Each bench features over 3,000 meticulously crafted stitches in the leather, creating a richly textured surface that evokes the delicate foam bubbles formed by ocean waves crashing onto the shore. The collection contrasts two distinct finishes: one smooth and polished, offering a high-gloss automotive-like sheen, while the other exudes warmth and refinement, featuring bronze-finished metal structures paired with the organic tactility of hand-stitched leather. These opposing elements are brought together in a harmonious composition, highlighting the studio’s commitment to precise craftsmanship and conceptual depth.
At the core of Fractals lies a cabinet that inspired the project’s signature curves and material language. Reissued this year with updated finishes and refined interiors, the cabinet continues to represent the essence of the collection—a synthesis of structural clarity and expressive form.
Fractals is a celebration of duality and contrast, embracing polished perfection and raw elegance. The collection embodies MC+’s design ethos: to push the boundaries of material expression while delivering refined, thoughtful, and collectible design objects.
